Cigna / Elliot Corporate Virtual Challenge & 5k
We are raising much-needed funds for the expansion of the Elliot Regional Cancer Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. The new cancer center will bring nearly all services and treatments into a convenient single location here in Manchester, unlike any other facility in southern New Hampshire. We are also initiating a unique “Patient and Family Navigator Program” to guide patients and their families through the entire cancer care journey, as well as introduce infusion services into our new center slated to open in the Fall of 2020.Together, we ensure Hope is Here.
As you register for the race, you will be emailed a link to a pre-loaded and personalized fundraising page. You can share why supporting expanded cancer care locally is important to you, and you can share your personal fundraising page with friends, co-workers and family members. Be sure to also post your link on social media to encourage your friends to support the race, and our work to further improve cancer care for our community. You may also modify this page with photos, your own story, personal goals, and more.
All contributions will be managed by the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation, a charitable, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing financial support to the various needs of the local community and of the Elliot Health System. 100% of the net proceeds received by the Foundation will be directed to the capital campaign for the new Elliot Regional Cancer Center. Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation
The dollars you, your family and your friends contribute will support major cancer care improvements at Elliot Health System, and will specifically help to design and construct a new, local $29M regional cancer center to better serve all of us here in southern New Hampshire. The new regional cancer center will be located in Manchester and will house surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, infusion, oncology specialists and other treatments and support services under a single roof. There will be NO other cancer care facilities like it in all of southern New Hampshire, and the expanded program will feature navigators to help every patient and family through their cancer care journey and recovery.
All contributions will be managed by the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation, a charitable, tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to providing financial support to the various needs of the local community and of the Elliot Health System (also a non-profit charitable organization). 100% of the net proceeds received by the Foundation will be directed to the Elliot Regional Cancer Center.
