I am asking for your consideration and support as we gear up for the annual Ride for Mental Health. Once again, Sunovion is proud to be a sponsor for this important cause, and Team Sunovion will have in person and virtual riders participating in this important event. This is a charity bike ride with proceeds going to McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for education, research and treatment of mental illness.
My daughter and I decided to join this fight in 2019 when it was brought to my attention by a former colleague and friend, who is a family member of the ride's founder. Like many of you, we have people we care deeply about in our lives who struggle with mental illness. Knowing that we can help in some small way to advance research, treatment and education to end the stigma is our way of supporting a large community that needs and deserves a village of support.

The Ride for Mental Health 2022
The Ride for Mental Health is one of the first rides in the country to benefit mental health. The proceeds raised will be donated to McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for the education, research, and treatment of mental illness including anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse. Our mission is to raise funds for McLean so that we can help accelerate the progress being made to help others who suffer from mental illness.
We also hope to end the stigma surrounding mental illness through education and awareness. The promotion of this ride is a start. Many if not most of us are touched by close friends and relatives who have suffered from one type or another of mental illness.
