TEAM ERHARDT - Welcome to my fundraising page for PEDALS 2022! I'm very excited to be raising money and awareness for a cause I care so much about and unfortunately impacts me personally.

I was (we were, because it impacts the entire family) diagnosed with ALS in September of 2018. It is a brutal and relentless disease. It never stops progressing, never goes into remission and always keep taking. It has affected my entire body including legs, arms, hands/dexterity, speech, respiratory, swallowing and energy levels. I am fortunate that I can still manage to transfer between my bed/wheelchair/recliner. I am scheduled to have a feeding tube surgically implanted in October. Dawn and I keep trying to focus on one day at a time. Dawn is a wonderful wife and caregiver.

What does the Susan Mast ALS Foundation do? Support for local ALS patients and their families. Support groups, counseling, respite care, equipment, speech therapist, and the list goes on. See their website for more info.
