Hello again!
It's November so that means I am gearing up to be a (pretend!) professional bike rider in support of Beads of Courage during El Tour de Tucson. As many of you know, Beads of Courage provides innovative arts-in-medicine programs to children and teens coping with serious medical conditions, their familiy, and the clinicians who care for them. Each bead bead given recognizes a moment of courage as a beatuiful and tangible keepsake, making visible that which is often invisible.
Like many organizations, especially non-profits, the past 2.5 years have been tough financially. All donations that come to us go right back into supporting those in need. Any amount, both small and large, make the difference.
How do your donations impact others?
- $5 covers shipping costs of materials sent to a family to attend a virtual Beads of Courage Workshop
- $20 allows a grieving parent the opportunity to attend a virtual bereavement workshop
- $50 supports two siblings with the Beads of Courage Sibling program
- $100 removes a child from our Beads in the Mail waitlist
