My company is sponsoring the King Challenge (a charity ride to raise funds for the Krempels Center - a non-profit that supports individuals who have had a traumatic brain injury ...see www.krempelscenter.org).
Really - I'm in it because I love riding in New England in the fall, my registration fee was covered by the company, and it's meant to be a fun event - but all money raised goes towards a good cause (speaking as someone who has gone over the bars and whacked my noggin once or twice) and the Krempels Center is a reputable institution.
Full disclosure - I'm under no obligation to fundraise as my company is helping to sponsor the event. I will be riding and enjoying the miles, but if you care to contribute based on my sweat equity, you can do it through this simple fast, and secure website. The $150 is listed as the target minimum (and I have contributed myself in lieu of the registration fee).
