I'm so glad you are here! And I do mean on my fundraising page! But also, a warm and supportive welcome is what Krempels Center is all about.
Brain injury survivors attending Krempels Center have experienced a traumatic event that has upended the life they once knew. What was once easy--communication, memory, organization, mobility--isn't anymore. Relationships, careers, independence, and mastery of every day tasks and recreational activities have been impacted. It's a lonely place without a clear path ahead.
Krempels Center welcomes brain injury survivors, who and where they are today, and, with peer support and therapeutic programming, a new, meaningful path is found. With new friends made along the way.
I’m so proud of my 13 years as Executive Director of this fantastic organization. As we offer our services on an income-based sliding scale, with 8 out of 10 brain injury survivors attend for free or for a nominal fee. Fundraising is how we make that happen!
This event is our biggest fundraiser, and, as I'll be working the in-person event on October 15th, I'm a virtual participant. I'm challenging myself to ride 100 miles between now and October 16th to show my commitment to giving my best to Krempels Center and express gratitude for your support. Whether $10 or $100, any contribution toward my $1,000 goal helps!
Your gift is literally life changing, and I am thankful for your support!
All my gratitude,
Renee
