Welcome to my fundraising page! I am very excited to raise money for a cause I believe in, and I hope you are able to contribute.
I am riding in the 39th El Tour de Tucson in memory of my beautiful daughter, Phoebe Sallyann Regan.
Phoebe was born with a rare chromosomal abnormality, which caused life-threatening complications including Pulmonary Interstitial Glycogenosis and congenital heart defects. During Phoebe's hospital stays, Beads of Courage was there for us serving as an inspiration. Phoebe's sister, Hannah, was also touched by Beads of Courage. Hannah had a difficult time seeing her baby sister in the hospital, and missing her at home. The Beads of Courage sibling program helps the siblings of sick children find purpose and tell their stories. Hannah received beads that represented bravery, love and strength.
Beads of Courage helps children tell and own their stories, using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage and hope along their treatment journey. Every year, Beads of Courage distributes millions of beads to children. Every one of those beads represents a specific moment in time. A moment when a child’s spirits were lifted. A moment when courage was honored. A moment when suffering was alleviated.
Join Beads of Courage's ongoing mission to bring more moments of hope and healing to those who need it most, one bead at a time. The simple fact is this... They can’t do it alone. So, I am asking for your help.
Thank you for any amount that you can give!
