Dear Friend,
My name is Izaac Stone. I was fortunate enough to join Boulder Junior Cycling (BJC) this summer and have had one of the best experiences in competive sports with this program.
I would like to share a little story about what BJC has done for me and why this fundraiser is so important to this program.
I broke my back playing hockey in January of 2022. I was put on bed rest with no physical activity for 3 months. I was told I would never be able to play hockey again which had been my #1 sport for over 10 years. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to ride with BJC this past summer and fall season. Riding with BJC allowed for me to get the physical activity back that I was missing. The coaches and teammates that I found in BJC welcomed me with open arms. At the end of the fall shredder season I wanted to race cyclocross with the team but had no bike. BJC offered a me a free loaner for this offseason so that I can continue to work on my skills and race in cylcocross. Without fundraisers like this BJC would not have been able to support athletes like me.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Boulder Junior Cycling, is holding a Bike-a-Thon to raise money, and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
The money we raise will help us provide scholarships and support BJC programs.
The deadline for donations is December 1st.

2022 BJC Bike-a-thon
Boulder Junior Cycling is excited to announce our annual Bike-a-Thon fundraiser! This is a campaign where kids raise money to support their team while testing their skills and endurance on a fun and challenging course.
Community organizations like BJC play an important role in shaping our youth, teaching life lessons, and improving health. Fundraising campaigns are an essential part of BJC’s work.
The money we raise will help us:
– Award additional scholarships to low-income families
– Provide a higher level of training to further develop our coaching staff
– Expand and diversify our award-winning cycling curriculum
Thank you for helping us get more kids on bikes!
Warmly,
Pete Webber, Executive Director
