Many of you know how important Bryant Pond is in changing the lives of youth and adults and providing expereinces that connect people to the outdoors. I spent 15 years there and I am so proud of all that we have accomplished, but there's much work to do and they need your support. Now in my role with Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, I see so many great opportunities to continue the tradition of conservation education and other programs at Bryant Pond and look forward to their future successes. And just an FYI- I'm not a runner! I will likely be spending my "virtual 5K" hiking the forests in search of a whitetail deer!
Thank you for any amount that you can give to support the Bryant Pond & Greenland Point 4-H camps! I set the goal at $500, but please help be blow that away!!!
6th Annual Thanksgiving Day Wobble and Gobble 5K Race
This is the 6th Annual Wobble ad Gobble 5K Race to benefit the Bryant Pond 4H camp and learning center located on Lake Christopher in Bryant Pond Maine. 100 % of all race proceeds will go to support the 4-H camp and Learning Centers year-round programming at both their Bryant Pond and Greenland Point locations. Your support is important, it has been a very challenging couple of years as the camps are still trying to recover from cancelations due to COVID-19. Your race participation will help to insure a brighter future so that the 4-H camp can continue to reach and connect participants to the natural world around them.
The 4-H Camp and Learning centers mission is to strengthen the connection for people of all ages to the natural world with a combination of inspired outdoor fun, practical woods-wise skills, and hands-on conservation education. Helping young people learn to take care of our natural world and themselves when they are in it is our most important goal. Our programs are sponsored by various clubs, organizations, and individuals that believe in our mission.
Funds that are raised through this event will go towards the programs and facilities at the 4-H camp located in Bryant Pond and Princeton Maine.
