Hello friends and family! As you may remember, for many years Marie and I walked Project Bread's 20-mile Walk for Hunger, and in recent years, we have biked in The Last Gasp Charity Ride across The Cape. Many of you have supported us over the years with contributions to these great causes, and we thank you again.
This year, we have chosen a different Cape-area charity to support, and we are again asking you to please financially support us. Marie and I are riding the 33-mile Cape Cod Charity Bike Ride on September 17th to benefit the Cape & Islands United Way (I am a Board member). We will ride from Orleans to Provincetown.
The Cape and Islands United Way leads social impact in our region. Using a collaborative approach to address the challenges facing our community, they address the critical needs of our community in the foundational areas of health, housing, education, and financial stability. They work to unite people and improve lives, creating lasting change on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
Our goal is to together raise $3,000. We hope you'll consider making a donation of any amount to help us reach our fundraising goal by visiting our fundraising page at https://www.Pledgereg.com/374344
You can learn more about this great event at https://www.capeandislandsuw.org.
Thanks so much for your support!

The Century starts in Mashpee, The Metric Century (60+) in Sandwich and the 30 Mile Plus in Orleans. Safety is a top priority, expect support vehicles and police presence, along with signage and volunteers along the route. All of the rides end on the Outer Cape with a celebratory event for riders and volunteers.
The routes are not finalized yet. The permitting process is on going but we are very close.
