New ride, same charity... I am thrilled to ride again, supporting Champ Homes and those we serve. Champ Homes provides transitional housing to adults on Cape Cod who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Last year, 81% of our Champ Homes participants were successful in securing long term sustainable housing. Consistently over 90% of our Champs are employed, and many are furthering their education while here. They would not have this opportunity to move forward in their lives if it wasn't for fundraising efforts that support the organization. Together, we have the opportunity to change the trajectory of someone's life. Please support my ride, which in turn provides so much hope for so many Champs.

A Charity Ride across Cape Cod
What:
Be part of the inaugural Second Summer Cycle! This is an exciting new event led
by the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce-- a fully supported, cape wide, charity
ride benefiting 19 nonprofit organizations on Cape Cod. Ride a route of your
choosing: 30, 60+ or 100 miles on beautiful back roads (and the rail trail if you
choose).
100% of the funds raised by riders go directly to the beneficiary of their
choice.
Participate in a celebration at the end of the ride with food, music and
Barnstable Brewing beverages Second Summer Cycle Cans as memorabilia. Enjoy
a special day of riding the Cape landscape while also benefiting tens of thousands
of Cape Codders.

Where:
The Century starts in Mashpee, The Metric Century (60+) in Sandwich and the 30
Mile Plus in Orleans. Safety is a top priority, expect support vehicles and police
presence, along with signage and volunteers along the route. All of the rides end
on the Outer Cape with a celebratory event for riders and volunteers.
The routes are not finalized yet. The permitting process is on going but we are very close.

The Second Summer Bike Event is an incredible fundraiser that helps local area Non-Profits raise money and awareness for our various causes. Riding our bicycles throughout Cape Cod on a beautiful Fall day is a welcomed opportunity to do just that. Through hard work and determination, our team will preservere through a challenging course to the finish line. It is nothing compared to the hard work and determination that our Champ Homes participants must grind through to better their situations. Together, we provide opportunities and change lives.
Since 1991, Champ Homes has provided transitional housing in a sober, caring, family-like atmosphere to adults on Cape Cod who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. At our Hyannis campus, we can serve up to 51 individuals at a time. Our dedicated staff works closely with our Champ Homes participants to establish goals and help guide them on how to best achieve them. In 2022, 81% of the Champs that moved on obtained long term sustainable housing.
