Please donate whatever you can to help Savannah Adams. I have participated in many fundraisers for a good cause, but THIS one is personal. Savannah Adams was struck by a car while participating in a bike race last weekend. I didn't know her before the race, but I met her right after she was hit. I still cannot put that into words. She will forever be in my heart. Her road to recovery is long; let us ease that however we can!
Savannah's Recovery Ride
Savannah Adams, new to our town but no stranger to the cycling community, was struck by a car during a recent race and is currently in the hospital, battling to recover from serious injuries. On Saturday, August 26, we're coming together for a special cycling event, rallying behind one of our own to support her in her recovery.
We are hosting a group "recovery ride" and have established this fundraising event to extend the reach. The funds raised through this event will be donated to a worthy cause of Savannah's choosing that focuses on improving cyclist safety and advocating for the rights of cyclists on our roads. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a casual rider, your support will make a significant impact. Let's ride together, not only to show solidarity but also to pave the way for safer roads for cyclists.
This event is not just a ride; it's a powerful statement about the vulnerability of cyclists on our roads and a testament to the strength of our community. As cyclists, we share a unique bond that extends beyond the thrill of the ride. We look out for each other, support each other, and come together in times of need. Let's make a difference by raising awareness about cyclist safety and contributing to a cause that matters.
