On Saturday, August 17, 2013 I will bike up Mount Washington, a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. The Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hill Climb is the largest annual fundraiser for Tin Mountain Conservation Center.

This will be my first attempt at the the Bicycle Hill Climb.  I have twice done the running race up the Auto Road - so I know the steepness profile and have a sense of the level of difficulty (as in "VERY").  As the saying goes:  "It's only one hill" (i.e., no flat spots!).  I've done my training and now have 2 days of tapering into the event.  This is awesome and intimidating at the same time.  I hope we have good weather!  Last call for any support that you can provide - through the Tin Mountain Conservation Center and thank you!

You can help me support a great environmental organization, Tin Mountain Conservation Center, which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 32 years.
