Hello and welcome to my fundraising page!

It's been 3+ years since I ran my last ultra, and I'm itching to get back on the trail!  I've missed my running family but above all else, I’m very passionate this specific race, Vermont 100, and the cause it supports, Vermont Adaptive.  I finished the 100K version in 2018 and really loved every part of this beautiful race.  This year, I’m running the 100K again with the goal of qualifying for the 100 mile in 2025.

Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. Their programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities.  Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter, and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months.  Here are additional details about who VASS serves and where 100% of your donation could be used:  https://youtu.be/upsNt4bIRj0?si=GEm4grMIJG6kf2ct

- a sit-ski set-up costs $5-10k

- an adaptive bike costs $8-10k

- Vermont Adaptive serves athletes with physical, mental, cognitive disabilities, and has a strong veterans program

- 50% of the athletes that Vermont Adaptive serves come from outside Vermont, and many from outside New England...so they serve athletes near you!

- Vermont Adaptive (through your fundraising efforts) does not turn any athlete away due to funding

- Vermont Adaptive serves clients who are ages 3 to 93

- Vermont Adaptive has 400 volunteers, and they provided 5,400 outings last year

- last year (for the VT100), 0.5% of the donations were less than $10, 57% were between $10-100, and $42% were over $100.  That (to me) means that many of our donations are in the $20, $25, $40 range yet they added up to a huge impact...so no donation is too small to be impactful.

Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too!
Thank you!
