If you've come here you are at least curious in this cause, the ride, or maybe why I'm participating. I've had my own mental health journey, of which I seem to be coming out the other side for now. I have had family members who have had or still struggle with their mental health. I have many patients (community members) who I come along side to provide tools for improving their mental health. This ride is for me, as physical activity is a sign I'm doing well in my health as well as a way to continue to invest in keeping my health. When I'm doing well, then I am able to be available for friends, family, and my community. This ride is also for them :)

The Ride for Mental Health 2024
The Ride for Mental Health is one of the first rides in the country to benefit mental health. The proceeds raised will be donated to McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for the education, research, and treatment of mental illness including anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse. Our mission is to raise funds for McLean so that we can help accelerate the progress being made to help others who suffer from mental illness.
We also hope to end the stigma surrounding mental illness through education and awareness. The promotion of this ride is a start. Many if not most of us are touched by close friends and relatives who have suffered from one type or another of mental illness.
