In June of 2023, I pedaled 50 miles through the Pioneer Valley to raise money for Bikes Fight Cancer. Fast forward to September 2023 and I received my own breast cancer diagnosis. After a mastectomy in November, I learned that I would also need chemo and radiation. I hope to finish my chemo treatments just before the 2024 Bikes Fight Cancer ride. I won't be riding 50 miles this year, but I'll be at the finish line to support my awesome Biker Chicks team (plus one non-chick amazing husband!) that has supported me through this battle and will continue to support me until I get to my own finish line.
100% of all rider-raised funds support valuable cancer care services to patients, families and caregivers as well as funding hospitals focused on advancing cancer research. These places do great work. Thanks for your support for this event, and thanks to all of you who have already showered me with love and support over the last year.

Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride, Powered by Valley Solar is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like a kids trail ride, awesome food trucks, and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!

Bikes Fight Cancer Inc. is a Western Massachusetts 501(c)(3) that uses its love of bikes to lessen the burden of a cancer diagnosis for patients, families, and caregivers. Through athletic events like the Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride and the Bikes Fight Cancer PMC Team, we aim to empower a community to participate, donate, and fundraise in the fight against cancer. Through these activities, Bikes Fight Cancer can provide funding to organizations offering valuable cancer care and services, as well as those advancing cancer research.
