I'm doing another fundraising run. This time it's the MDI Park Loop Road Half Marathon on June 2. My goal is simply to raise $200 to send a kid to Camp Cadillac for a week. I need to raise the money by mid May. If for some reason I'm unable to run this race, I have a backup half marathon scheduled for September.

The Mount Desert Island YMCA is the cornerstone of the greater MDI region. The MDI Y's mission is to develop community, character, personal growth and wellness in spirit, mind, and body for the greater MDI community. Part of our mission is to offer scholarships so that no one is turned away because of the inability to pay. The Acadia National Park Half Marathon gives participants a chance to raise $200 with their fundraising page for an entry into the race. The $200 raised will send a kid on a full scholarship to a week of our wonderful summer camp called Camp Cadillac.
