It is amazing that we are celebrating the 10th Annual Crush Challenge on Saturday August 24, 2024!
I am cycling and fundraising in my father’s memory as we continue to support of UC Davis Health and the Comprehensive Cancer Center through Dr. Tuscano and his research to find non-toxic cures for cancer as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Napa Valley Teen Center.
My father, Norman deleuze, was a founding partner of ZD Wines. He was a man with a passion and drive to get things done as he did throughout his life. Aerospace to winemaking he always had a can-do attitude which carried over to second and third generations of ZD Wines. After a multi-year battle with cancer, he passed away in 2007.
With the proceeds benefitting research for a non-toxic cure for cancer and the local youth, I am riding to make a difference. Please help me reach my fundraising goal and support me with a donation today.

10th Annual Crush Challenge // August 24, 2024
The 10th Annual Crush Challenge, hosted by the deLeuze Family Charitable Foundation and ZD Wines, is an unparalleled event in the Napa Valley, bringing together people from all over the country to join us in supporting our beneficiaries: UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Teen Center at Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley.
Experience the beauty of Napa Valley on a private cycling excursion (17-, 25-, or 37-mile options) that will depart from Veterans Memorial Park in Yountville. Enjoy a “rest stop” at ZD Wines in Rutherford to imbibe in the barrel tasting and food bites.
Following the ride, indulge in the all-inclusive Food & Wine Garden with live music paired with delicious food and wine from Napa Valley restaurants and wineries to round out the afternoon.
Crush Challenge, now in its 10th year, was established in 2014 as a way to showcase the best of Napa Valley while bringing awareness and funding to a select group of worthy charities.
