On June 15th, my husband and I will be volunteering for the Bikes Fight Cancer fundraising ride!
I learned about this awesome organization, through my son's involvement in the cycling. This past year, Bikes Fight Cancer donated an amazing $46,000 to the Mass General Cancer Center, the very location were I spent a week at a time getting treatment for Ewings Sarcoma in 2007-2008. Whether it was surgery, my regular chemo infusion stays, or the frequent blood tranfusions, The Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital was was my second home and I am so grateful to have received such great care, while being close to home, especially since our kids were in kindergarten and first grade at the time.
If you want to ride, checkout www.bikesfightcancer.org. There is a 25 mile and 50 mile option, both starting and ending at Treehouse Brewery. The event takes riders through the scenic pioneer valley to raise money for Bikes Fight Cancer. 100% of all rider raised funds will support valuable cancer care services to patients, families and caregivers as well as funding hospitals focused on advancing cancer research.

LOVE BIKES. HATE CANCER.
