Happy Easter,
This year i will not be participating in the BikeMs Pedal to the Point for the first time in 14 years. Two of my favorites bike rides are now on the same weekend. I have decided to alternate between them for the time being.
My fundraising goal for the 2024 ODRAM is $1000 to help find a cure and/or new treatments for Juvenile Diabetes.
My employer, Cardinalhealth, will match donations that I make to JDRF.
So I am asking if you want to support me and DO NOT NEED A TAX DEDUCTION for 2024., please contact me so we can make arraignments for fund transfers via Venmo. I will then make the donation thru pledgereg and then submit the receipt to Cardinalhealth's YourCause portal for them to match. They will match 100% of the donation up to a max of $1000, meaning I have the potential to raise $2000 for JDRF.

I’m taking part in the 2023 ODRAM, along with hundreds of riders from around the world, to raise money for JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Did you know T1D:
- Strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.
- Occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Insulin is essential to turning food into energy.
- Requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
JDRF is working every day to change this. And every dollar I raise helps them continue to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the community until a cure is found.
