I'm running this year's Mother's Day Half in honor of my mother-in-law who succumbed to cancer. If you were fortunate enough to know her, you were pretty damn lucky. She was kind, and generous and knew how to make you feel like you were the only person in the room when she talked to you, and she is missed every single day.
All funds raised go to support the Cancer Connection, a nonprofit cancer support community that offers services free of charge and provides a haven where people with cancer and their loves ones can learn how to navigate the complicated cancer journey through education, peer support, integrative therapies, and creative programs to strengthen body and spirit. I know first hand how important these services are to anyone fighting their battle with cancer.
No donation is too small, and I appreciate any and all support!

WMass Mother's Day Half Marathon
The WMass Mother's Day Half Marathon has been supporting Cancer Connection for 14 years! .
This race is one of extremely FEW that operate on donation. Race expenses are kept to a minimum, yet we try to make the runners' experience top-notch. This race has a vibe of gratitude, appreciation and so much love. Not only are runners happy to run, volunteers are happy to help and cancer-warriors are happy to benefit from the free services provided by Cancer Connection.
It is truly The BEST half in Western Mass! This race makes an impact!
