Yo,
I've never run a half-marathon and since running the Boston marathon is on my life's bucket list, I figured I'd start somewhere. I signed up for this race once in 2016 but we ended up going to Iceland (which was awesome!), so I had to miss it. So I'm giving it another shot. I'm a decent runner but I have never run more than 11 miles at once. So I'm excited for the challenge. And I'm excited about this specific race bc it happens on the streets of the best and most beautiful city in the world. And it supports our community's first responders and protectors. Seems like a good deal all around.
Anyways, thank you for considering supporting me and the cause. I'm off to training - I have less than a month left... Wish me luck, and see you at the finish line!
-Anya
