BG Cycling Club (BGCC) is a local bicycling club (and 501C3 charity!), supporting more responsible, safe, and enjoyable cycling in and around our favorite city on the planet, Pittsburgh.

We do this through awareness at local rides, races and cycling events, and by supporting select charities like Pedal Pittsburgh. Please help us to help Pedal Pittsburgh as we "clean up the streets", making Pittsburgh cyclists into more responsible humans, and making Pittsburgh as cycling-friendly as we can possibly be (despite our quad-busting hills, cobbles that rival Paris-Roubaix, and Canton Ave!).

Since 1994, PedalPGH has grown to become Pennsylvania’s largest one-day bike ride – join thousands of participants from across the state and beyond to discover the city of Pittsburgh, a network of 90 distinct neighborhoods connected by historic bridges, lush riversides, and some of the region’s best new in-city bike infrastructure.  It’s a casual, fun ride that welcomes people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to explore the neighborhoods, parks, bridges, and geography that make the “Steel City” so unique. Proceeds fund Bike Pittsburgh (BikePGH), a registered 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit that works on behalf of the Pittsburgh community to make the city safe and accessible for everyone to bike and walk

BikePGH is transforming our streets to make biking and walking commonplace for all Pittsburghers in order to improve our quality of life and reduce the harmful effects of car dependence in our communities. We envision a Pittsburgh where people can thrive without needing to own a car – making the Steel City a world class leader in clean, affordable, and convenient transportation.
