Support My Trail Animals 100K Run for Public Lands:
On November 1st, 2025, I’ll be running the Trail Animals 100K — that’s 62.5 miles on foot — through some of the most beautiful trails we’re fortunate to have access to.
At first, I wasn’t going to run this race as a fundraiser. It was more personal to me. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that one of the values I talk about often is leadership — and true leadership means putting words into action.
That’s why I’ve decided to dedicate this run to raising funds and awareness for something I feel strongly about: protecting and preserving our public lands.
Why this matters:
Public lands are more than just forests and trails. They are places for:
- Citizens to connect with nature through hiking, running, and outdoor activities
- Communities to gather and pass down traditions
- Wildlife to thrive in healthy ecosystems
- Future generations to explore and enjoy
But these lands are always at risk — from underfunding, neglect, or even being sold off. I believe we need to not only protect what we have, but also support efforts that allow communities to repurchase and restore land for public use.
Where the money goes:
All proceeds will be split evenly between four local organizations focused on land stewardship, conservation, and community access. These groups are on the ground doing the hard work of:
- Maintaining trails
- Restoring ecosystems
- Expanding public access
- Educating and engaging citizens in stewardship
