As some of you know I enjoy distance running. Each year since Covid I have run The Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC the end of October with an amazing veteran organization that believes in "recovery through sport" called Team Semper Fi under The Semper Fi and America's Fund. This year I contacted some weird illness the weekend I was in DC and couldn't race. Fortunately I had a backup race in reserve.
So, on November 9, 2025 I’ll be honoring the brave service men and women AND our first responders who defend freedom by running the Manchester City Marathon.
As part of this event I am raising money for Veterans and I will also be running in memory of a fallen soldier from NH. Please help me reach my fundraising goal. Any amount will make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families. The money that is raised will go to worthy Veteran service organizations both locally and nationally. Manchester City Marathon
Sunday, November 9, 2025 marks the 19th annual running of the Manchester City Marathon. The marathon is a moderately challenging Boston Qualifier that takes runners on a scenic trip through the historic mill district of the Granite State’s largest city. Runners in the full and half marathon will enjoy a run that includes fabulous views of the Queen City, surrounding areas, and beautiful fall foliage. Since our formation in 2017, we have donated over $11.6 million to honor and support local, regional and national veteran support organizations that provide critical services to our Veterans. These include supporting Veteran organizations that provide housing, take care of our homeless, support day to day services, provide service and support K-9’s, scholarships, jobs, create equine immersion programs and support art programs.
