Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm thrilled to raise money for a cause I believe in, and I hope you'll be able to contribute. Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) provides medical and dental care to the uninsured living or working in Centre County. If you are able, please consider supporting my run for CVIM! By donating on my donation page to help me reach my goal, you will also be contributing to the overall goal of raising $40,000 for CVIM. Learn more about CVIM HERE.

Nittany Valley Half Marathon
First run in 1984 as part of the final running of the Nittany Valley Marathon, the Nittany Valley Half Marathon has since blossomed into one of the region’s most popular road races, drawing several hundred runners each year. Over the past decade and beyond, Centre Volunteers in Medicine has been the beneficiary for the Nittany Valley Half Marathon.
CVIM is a free clinic providing access to primary and preventive medical and dental care for residents of Centre County and individuals working in Centre County who live in other areas that do not have a free clinic or programs to meet their needs. Physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, social workers and other licensed clinicians volunteer their time to provide care.

Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) is the only free clinic in Centre County, PA, providing medical, dental, behavioral health, case management, medication assistance, laboratory testing, and health education services to nearly 1,100 uninsured and underinsured residents annually. Founded in 2003, CVIM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and does not receive federal or state funding for its operations. Instead, our operation is sustained through a diversified range of funding sources, including private donations, corporate sponsorships, fundraising events, grants, and in-kind donations from local partners. A team of 23 staff members works alongside more than 200 volunteer providers, pharmacists, interpreters, receptionists, administrative personnel, and others. Our mission is to serve and advocate for the medically underserved, improving health equity and reducing disparities. All CVIM patients must meet certain eligibility requirements, including that their household income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level, and they must be approved in advance for care.
