Welcome to my fundraising page!
Thank you for your support, it means more to me than words can say. My cancer journey is now 12 years behind me, yet it is really not over. I strive to keep myself in good health, stay active, eat well and do my best to manage my stress. My goal is to remain cancer free.
In August 2024, I opted to have my silicone implants removed. It was yet another surgery and recovery. I immediately felt better having those toxic things out of my body and have no regrets with the decision. I was however left with some unfinished business on my chest and have consulted with a local surgeon to fix things. I remain hopeful this will truly be my last surgery for breast cancer.
I am scheduled for surgery on April 7th, 2026. While I registed to run this event, I am realizing it will likely be too soon to run that distance post op. I have decided to walk this year, and I remain hopeful I call rally a team together. Please consider joing me on this nine mile walk on Mothers Day morning!
I participate in this event to honor those who have sadly not survived their cancer jouney and in support of all of those who are in the journey now. Thank you for your support, no donation is too small! This event is important to me, I walked it the year I finished chemo and I have run them ever since! I WILL run again!
