Hello friends and family!
Competing in the VT 100 is a pretty big challenge that I am looking forward to tackling this summer. I have spent hours, days, months (and arguably years) training for this event, and I'm really excited to push myself to accomplish something massive.
Ultra running in beautiful places is a privilege, and one that I am grateful to have the time, resources (including the support of loving family and friends!), and the physical ability to commit to. I believe that moving freely outdoors is something that everyone should have access to. But there are people in our communities for whom just getting out to walk can be a real challenge. Some folks need a little extra assistance to bring health, fun and passion to their lives. That's why I'm honored to help raise funds to support Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports. They provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. Their programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months. Vermont Adaptive offers financial support for anyone who needs it to participate. This is an amazing organization and I'm honored to be a team member and fundraiser for them.
Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too!
Thank you!
