On Saturday, August 15, 2026, I will bike up Mount Washington, a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. I have been cycling for 15 years, and this climb has been on my list since 2015. Some consider this the steepest cycling race in the world. It is only available to climb by bike during this event.

The Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb is also the largest annual fundraiser for Tin Mountain Conservation Center. Tin Mountain Conservation Center (TMCC) is a great environmental organization, which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers, and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 34 years. To see some of the work TMCC does with students, you can visit the TMCC YouTube Channel. If you are financially able and interested in support the work that TMCC does, please consider donating to my fundraising page. The fundraising goal is $300 per entrant; every size donation helps.
