As Head of School at Saint Columbkille Partnership School, I am proud to participate in this year’s BC Race to Educate, an event that reflects the very heart of our school’s mission: expanding access to a high-quality, faith-filled education for students from across Boston and surrounding communities.
At Saint Columbkille, nearly half of our students receive some form of financial aid. Families come to us with deep hopes for their children and, often, real financial challenges. Through need-based financial aid, we work to ensure that children can remain in a stable, nurturing school community where they are known, challenged, and cared for.
The BC Race to Educate, held this year on BC's campus Saturday, April 25, plays a critical role in this work. All race proceeds support financial aid and scholarships, helping us fulfill our commitment to educating students of diverse backgrounds and experiences. All contributions are tax-deductible.
This year, our school's goal is to raise $200,000 and register 1,000 participants for race day! To register to run/walk, please visit www.bcracetoeducate.com and please donate to my PledgeReg page to help me reach my fundraising goal. If you want to learn more about my school, please visit www.stcps.org.
Thank you for supporting this important effort, for investing in our students, and for helping ensure that a Saint Columbkille education remains accessible to the families who seek it. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference — one that extends far beyond race day.
Thank you!

BC Race To Educate
The BC Race to Educate is a Boston College-sponsored 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run to benefit Saint Columbkille Partnership School. The race is held on campus at Boston College, beginning and ending in Alumni Stadium, and features entertainment, food and prizes in all age categories. Join the BC Athletes, BC Pep Band, and Baldwin the Eagle as we lace up our sneakers to celebrate and support Saint Cols!
Saint Columbkille Partnership School is a pre-K through Grade 8 Catholic school located in Brighton, MA. Since 1901, Saint Columbkille has been a mainstay within its surrounding community and has educated children for many generations. In 2018, Saint Columbkille Partnership School was designated as a laboratory school of Boston College's Lynch School of Education and Human Development.
Saint Cols now serves nearly 400 students with more than 44 percent receiving financial aid. The BC Race to Educate is our annual fundraiser to support Saint Columbkille Partnership School to give all students access to a high-quality Catholic education.
