On June 14th, I will be pedaling my way through the pioneer valley to raise money for Bikes Fight Cancer. 100% of all rider raised funds will support valuable cancer care services to patients, families and caregivers as well as funding hospitals focused on advancing cancer research.

My sister Suzanne and I did this bike ride on June 14th. It was so much fun! It was rainy and only 57 degrees. But it was inspiring to see all the other riders and to go the 25 mile distance pretty comfortably.
As so many others, our lives have been touched directly and indirectly by cancer. I am a 23 year survivor of breast cancer. Our father passed away several years ago with an aggressive lymphoma and our brother-in-law continues to battle bladder cancer. Cousins, friends, acquaintances - the list never ends and the struggles never end. Any way to help support families as they navigate through the hornet's nest they face when trying to live life and fight cancer is a worthwhile cause. I was and am happy to support this cause and ask any of you visiting this site to do so too!

Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride, Powered by Valley Solar is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like a kids trail ride, awesome food trucks, and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!

Bikes Fight Cancer Inc. is a Western Massachusetts 501(c)(3) that uses its love of bikes to lessen the burden of a cancer diagnosis for patients, families, and caregivers. Through athletic events like the Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride and the Bikes Fight Cancer PMC Team, we aim to empower a community to participate, donate, and fundraise in the fight against cancer.
