I am proud to be riding for the second time on Team WE CAN in the Second Summer Cycle!
For 25 years, WE CAN has supported women on Cape Cod who are navigating life transitions including job loss and career development; legal and immigration issues; debt and financial stability; and other personal growth opportunities.
Your donation to my ride will ensure that WE CAN continues to offer free and confidential services, including legal consultation, career support, financial empowerment, business support, mentoring and personal development programs. Last summer 25 WE CAN riders raised $65,000 for the organization and we hope to reach or surpass that goal again.
I was impressed that WE CAN was one of over 40 Cape Cod charities that had teams raising funds for their respective non-profits last summer. What a great way to spend a "second summer" weekend!
WE CAN - Second Summer Cycle
Overview
The Second Summer Cycle is the perfect event for riders of all levels, offering a picturesque journey through 8 historic Cape Cod towns and a strong committment to rider safety. Four distances are being offered, 15, 30, 60, and 100 miles. The start and finish is at beautiful Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth where there will be a Finish Line Celebration from 12PM-4PM, including local beer, food trucks and live music.
Beneficiaries
18 Local non profits will benefit from the monies generated by the riders, each of whom is asked to raise at least $250 for their non-profit of choice, or to be disseminated across all participating charities, in addition to the registration fee.
