Hi, I’ll be running in Boston’s Run to Remember to honor first responders and the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001.
I chose to join Team Mass Fallen Heroes because this cause combines two powerful missions I deeply believe in:
-Remembering and honoring those who gave everything — police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and military heroes from Massachusetts - especially 1st Lt Travis J Fuller, who we lost in January 2005.
-Supporting other Gold Star families like our own
Several years ago, I ran the Run to Remember 1/2 Marathon. I haven't run much since. I needed motivation to get back to it, and this race seemed like the perfect fit. Every mile I run on Memorial Day weekend is dedicated to those we’ve lost and to the families and veterans who continue to carry their legacy forward. Your support means the world.
Even a small donation helps fund grief support, family gatherings, veteran mentorship, career training, and startup resources — all so no one who served or sacrificed is ever forgotten, and those still serving our communities can build stronger futures.
