On Mother's Day 2026, my son Jonathan and I are participating in Cancer Connection's Half Marathon Run/Walk fundraiser. We welcome any donations to this worthwhile cause, big or small. Cancer Connection is an important resource for local individuals and families dealing with cancer. Cancer Connection is the only cancer support center in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, Massachusetts, and draws additional participants from Hampden County and beyond. All Cancer Connection programs, classes, support groups, and more are offered free of charge in a non-clinical environment, and fundraisers such as this are essential to keep those activities going. WMass Mother's Day Half Marathon
The WMass Mother's Day Half Marathon has been supporting Cancer Connection for 15 years - And every year our fundraising gets better and better! Help us continue this trend for 16th year in a row!
This race is one of extremely FEW that operate on donation. Race expenses are kept to a minimum, yet we try to make the runners' experience top-notch. This race has a vibe of gratitude, appreciation and so much love. Not only are runners happy to run, volunteers are happy to help and cancer-warriors are happy to benefit from the free services provided by Cancer Connection.
It is truly The BEST half in Western Mass! This race makes an impact!
