Riders will be put to the test in this timed loop through the most challenging climbs and breathtaking scenery that New Hampshire's White Mountains have to offer!! Participants can select one of three ride options: a 100 mile Gran Fondo, a 50 mile Medio Fondo, or a 25 mile Piccolo Fondo. I have chosen the 100 mile Gran Fondo!

The White Mountain Gran Fondo presented by Bank of New Hampshire is a one day cycling challenge to benefit City Year New Hampshire's work to increase the local and national graduation rate (www.cityyear.org). Gran Fondos are long distance, mass-participation cycling events that have been extremely popular in Europe and are growing fast in the US. This Gran Fondo is a timed loop through the White Mountains of New Hampshire with three ride options: a 100 mile Gran Fondo, a 50 mile Medio Fondo, and a 25 mile Piccolo Fondo - each a true feat for cyclists seeking adventure with daring terrain and breathtaking scenery. City Year is an education-focused nonprofit organization that works to help keep students in school and on track to graduate by uniting teams of diverse, young AmeriCorps members for a year of full-time service in schools. Evidenced-based research has identified the early-warning indicators allowing us to identify the students likely to drop out of school.
