On June 20, I’ll be pedaling through the Pioneer Valley as part of the Bikes Fight Cancer community—
This year's ride is particularly close to my heart! My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer this spring and is undergoing treatment in the Western Mass area.
He is incredibly positive about the process and his journey and is tolerating treatment very well! I have had the opportunity to join him for treatment and have been able to enjoy time together on off weeks. We are all thankful for the increased time we have together even though it is under these circumstances.
It is my hope that by riding to support Bikes Fight Cancer, families like mine can continue to benefit from improved treatments and easier journeys.
Every dollar I raise helps fund essential cancer care services and supports hospitals advancing life-saving cancer research.

The Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride presented by PDC Incorporated, is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like awesome post ride meal and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!
