Friends,
After my own diagnosis, surgery and treatment in 24', I was deeply humbled by a group of my friends starting a team and riding in my honor (Team Silver Linings). Last year, I proudly rode this ride for the first time, in honor of friends and loved ones. This year I am the proud "captain" of team Silver Linings, which includes my family and a large group of friends. We will ride in honor of friends and loved ones I have lost, but also to celebrate those that keep up the fight and survive with me.
This August, around the two year anniversary of my final treatment, we ride B Strong Ride to celebrate cancer survivorship & help fund a complete year of cancer care at the B Strong Center for Integrative Care at Boulder Community Health. (https://www.bch.org/our-services/cancer/support-integrative-therapies/). While I did not recieve any of their care, I STRONGLY support their mission.
Founded in 2011, B Strong Ride has had over 10,000 riders and has raised over $5 million. This might be the last year for this ride, so please help me make a difference in a survivor's life.

B Strong Ride
B Strong Ride is a bicycle event that celebrates cancer survivorship and funds a complete year of cancer care at the B Strong Center for Integrative Care at Boulder Community Health.

- Not just cyclists. B Strong is a family event with outstanding food and entertainment throughout the day. During and after the ride, Celestial Seasonings will be open for tours and tastings.
B Strong Ride funds a complete year of cancer care at the Boulder Community Health Center for Integrative Care and other local cancer charities.

Boulder Community Health Center for Integrative Care (CIC) provides a wide range of services integrated with conventional cancer care that are clinically demonstrated to improve patients’ outcomes by enhancing wound healing, shortening hospital stays, and reducing pain medication needs, as well as lowering patient stress and anxiety.
CIC provides evidence-based care by certified and licensed practitioners for current cancer patients and cancer survivors, as well as their family members and caregivers, including:
- Acupuncture
- Manual Lymph Drainage
- Massage Therapy and Reflexology
- Reiki and Healing Touch Massage
- Wellness & Integrative Care Consultation
