Welcome to our fundraising page for Summer Second Cycle. We will be riding through many of the communities we support at Sharing Kindness and we hope you will both cheer us on and consider making a donation to support our work!
I so appreciate you joining me on my ride....Sharing Kindess is near and dear to my heart as I see first hand the impact the grief groups have for the people who regularly attend these groups. The most common sentiment shared is that it provides relief after a siginificant loss to be in a group with others who have shared experience.
Sharing Kindess provides clinician led grief support, mental health education and suicide prevention programs all at no cost to the participants.
One of the factors that initially drew me to working with Sharing Kindness is the multi faceted approach in providing services they utilize. In addition to offering grief support groups, they are also actively working throughout the Cape and Islands schools in conjunction with Hope Squad. Hope Squad is a nationally recognized, evidence based peer suicide prevention program which trains students to recognize warning signs, support one another and build stronger and more connected school communities.
Thank you so much for supporting my ride and helping Sharing Kindess to continue to provide these much needed services.
THANK YOU!
