Welcome to my fundraising page! For 3 years I was a Field Educator at Merck Forest & Farmlamd Center recently shifting into the development office. I have a unique view into how important nature-based play is for kids of all ages as I now work to support and help build MFFC's Education and Programs Department. I will be hiking the Farm Trail Loop on October 3rd to keep giving kids the opportunity to see nature as a place to get dirty, explore, and wonder- if you are local, please join me or consider making a contribution to support Merck Forest's mission to inspire curiosity, love, and responsibility for natural and working lands.
Merck Forest Hike-a-thon
The Merck Forest Hike-a-thon is a joyful community event and fall fundraiser benefiting Merck Forest’s efforts to give kids (of all ages) access to nature. The day includes hiking, kids' activities, food trucks, live music, and more in a beautiful landscape in Southern Vermont. All funds raised will support Merck Forest's place-based educational programs, workshops, and day camps, as well as the stewardship needed to keep this landscape free and open to the public 365 days a year.

Merck Forest & Farmland Center is a 3,644-acre working forest and farm in Rupert, Vermont, open to the public year-round. Part of a 42,000-acre unfragmented forest block and a critical migratory corridor in the northern Appalachians, the land serves as both a living classroom and a front-line landscape for ecological stewardship. Merck Forest engages more than 20,000 visitors and 3,200 students annually through place-based education, active land management, and community connection. Its mission: to inspire curiosity, love, and responsibility for natural and working lands. merckforest.org We thank you for your support.
