Hello Everyone,
On June 20, my friend Makani Freitas and I will be pedaling through Western Mass as part of the Bikes Fight Cancer community, riding to support patients, families, and caregivers impacted by cancer. Every dollar we raise helps fund essential cancer care services and supports hospitals advancing life-saving cancer research.
We have lost friends to cancer, in particular, Makani lost his good friend in May to cancer. Amazingly, though he has recuperated from a January neck surgery January and has trained specifically for this fund raiser to honor his friend Betty Lynne. Together we know many who are survivors and have several good friends who are now in treatment. I too am a survivor of cancer, Hotchkin Lymphoma. The recent breakthroughs have been astounding but need to continue to find cures and to make treatments less severe and uncomfortable. Please donate to this cause with a dollar amount that works in your budget.

The Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride presented by PDC Incorporated, is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like awesome post ride meal and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!
