Thank you for visiting Jess & Erica's Daffodil Fun Run fundraising page!
On April 27, Erica and I will be participating in a 5K Road Race to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County. This event raises funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, an organization in Amherst that provides one-to-one mentoring relationships to local children in need of positive adult influence and friendship.
I am currently involved in the program as a "Big", and I have been matched with my "Little" for over a year! There are a lot of kids on the program's waiting lists and one of the factors preventing them from being matched is the need for more staff to support the matches. In order to hire more staff, more funding is needed - that's one of the reasons we're participating in this fundraiser. We appreciate your help!
I hope you'll make a donation and help us reach our fundraising goal. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County relies on people like us to fund their program. All contributions are tax-deductible, and you’ll receive an emailed receipt immediately after you donate.

Thank you so much for your support!
Since 1975 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, a program of the Center for Human Development, has been providing one-to-one mentoring relationships to local children in need of positive adult influence and friendship.
Supervised by a staff of professional case coordinators, volunteers spend time weekly with a child for at least one year developing a positive, trusting, and enriching friendship.
A special person, such as a "big brother" or "big sister" can often be the one factor that can change the destiny of a child's life, providing the resources and encouragement to become a productive and healthy adult.
