I am riding to raise funds for the Marlowe Foundation. Dedicated to supporting various programs that help families with intellectually and developmentally disabled members manage and prosper, the Foundation is a newly formed 501c3. Although riders will climb more than 4,000 feet in elevation to complete the course, our efforts in one day cannot nearly match the struggles these families face on a daily basis.
The 2026 Marlowe Challenge
The Marlowe Challenge – September 12, 2026
Choose your challenge: 100 or 50 miles through the best of Massachusetts cycling. Departing from the quiet, tree-lined campus of the Fenn School in Concord, this ride rolls through historic Revolutionary War country, climbs the apple-orchard hills of Worcester County, and tackles the iconic summit of Mt. Wachusett before returning to Concord for a celebratory finish line. All riders have a $1,000 fundraising goal.
The ride benefits The Marlowe Foundation, which directly funds local and regional organizations empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), turning grants and partnerships into real opportunities.
The Marlowe Foundation empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live proudly and confidently as themselves. We believe the opportunity to thrive is a human right — and that belief drives our vision: an accepting world without boundaries for people with IDD. Our mission is to advance that change, big or small, by directing funds to local, aligned organizations leading the way in creating opportunities for people with IDD to thrive.
