Team 745
Team 745 was created to honor the memory of Brandon Collins, badge #745, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on September 11, 2016. What began as a way to pay tribute to his sacrifice has grown into a dedicated group of current and retired law enforcement officers committed to supporting fallen officers and their families. In 2026, Team 745 will proudly represent this mission by riding in the Police Unity Tour, ensuring that the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice is never forgotten.
On May 10, 2026, Team 745 will be cycling with Chapter IV of the Police Unity Tour as they embark on a 3-day, 230 mile bicycle ride from Richmond, VA to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM) in Washington, D.C. to kick-off National Police Week, which is a time to honor and remember law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty during the year prior.
The mission of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness about America’s law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Funds from the Police Unity Tour directly support the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum in Washington, D.C., helping to honor fallen officers, preserve their legacy, and provide programs for their families while raising public awareness of their sacrifice. The Police Unity Tour is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 (Tax ID #80-0642457), thus any donations are fully tax deductible.
Over the past five years, law enforcement officers in the United States have faced an average of approximately 73,000 assaults annually, with about 125 officers losing their lives in the line of duty each year.
Team 745 always rides to honor & remember our fallen brother, Brandon Collins #745; however, we also continue to ride for other fallen officers, especially those from our region. In 2025, the Kansas City Metro has already lost Wyandotte County Sheriff's Deputy Elijah Ming (EOW: 07/26/25) and Kansas City Kansas Police Officer Hunter Simoncic (EOW: 08/26/25).
We have a team goal of raising $20,000 to send 10 members of Team 745 on the Police Unity Tour ($2,000/rider or support staff). With every dollar we raise, we are doing our part to honor our nation’s fallen law enforcement officers. Your donation will make a difference!
Thank you for your generous support!
