Team BSF – Riding for Mental Health
At Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, we are driven by a commitment to advocacy, resilience, and standing alongside our clients in their most challenging moments. Mental health is fundamental to that mission. The Ride for Mental Health reflects values deeply aligned with our firm’s ethos: perseverance in the face of difficulty, collective support, and a determination to create meaningful change. Just as we advocate for our clients, we are proud to advocate here—for greater awareness, expanded access to care, and the elimination of stigma surrounding mental illness.
Supporting McLean Hospital
Funds raised through the Ride for Mental Health benefit McLean Hospital, a global leader in psychiatric care, research, and education and the largest psychiatric teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. McLean’s mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by psychiatric illness through compassionate care, innovative research, and a commitment to public understanding of mental health. The Ride directly supports programs that expand access to treatment, advance scientific discovery, and provide critical support services to patients and their families.
Over the years, this event has raised over $1.4 million in support of McLean’s work, with participation and fundraising totals growing each year. Team BSF is proud to contribute to that legacy—and we are setting our sights on helping this year’s ride surpass prior fundraising milestones.
The Ride
On June 27–28, 2026, Team BSF will take part in the Ride, a powerful two-day cycling event that brings together riders of all levels in support of mental health. The Ride offers multiple routes designed to be both challenging and inclusive—spanning scenic countryside, rolling terrain, and a range of distances so participants can ride at their own pace while contributing to a shared goal. Whether tackling the full course or joining for a portion, every mile ridden helps drive awareness and support.
Why We Ride
Members of Team BSF are riding in honor of friends, family members, colleagues, and clients who have been affected by mental health challenges. In a profession that demands intensity, discipline, and endurance, we recognize how critical mental well-being is—not only within the legal community but across society. This ride is an opportunity to come together, to listen, to support, and to act.

The Ride for Mental Health 2026
The Ride for Mental Health is one of the first rides in the country to benefit mental health. The proceeds raised will be donated to McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for the education, research, and treatment of mental illness including anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse. Our mission is to raise funds for McLean so that we can help accelerate the progress being made to help others who suffer from mental illness.
We also hope to end the stigma surrounding mental illness through education and awareness. The promotion of this ride is a start. Many if not most of us are touched by close friends and relatives who have suffered from one type or another of mental illness.
