Welcome to My Alianza 5K Fundraising Page
I’m participating in the The Alianza 5K: Cider Donut Dash, on September 26th, because when I was ready to leave they held my hand the entire time without ever making me feel judged.
By supporting Alianza DV, you're helping people experiencing DC who may not know how to leave, free and confidential support, advocacy, and resources; that they otherwise would not even know exist. Leaving can feel and seem impossible but they remind you it's still possible.
I would be grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference and shows survivors that they are not alone.
Thank you for supporting my fundraiser and being part of this important cause.
Join the Alliance. Support Survivors.
The Alianza 5K: Cider Donut Dash, September 26th, Ashley Reservoir
The Alianza 5K: Cider Donut Dash is a community run/walk taking place on Saturday, September 26, at 10:00 a.m. at Ashley Reservoir in Holyoke, MA. This event brings our community together to raise awareness, support survivors of domestic violence, and help build a future where everyone can live free from violence.
Whether you run the 5K, join the fun walk, or bring the whole family to cheer on participants, there’s a place for everyone at the start line (and yes, plenty of donuts waiting at the finish).
Held just ahead of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Cider Donut Dash shines a light on the vital work Alianza does every day to support survivors, strengthen families, and create safer communities throughout our region. This is more than just a race, you are helping build a future free from domestic violence.
Alianza means alliance. We stand together with survivors of domestic violence.
We Listen. We Believe. We Support. This is what we do. This is who we are.
We empower survivors of domestic violence to stay safe and achieve greater independence.
We do this by helping with logistics such as safe housing, food, clothing, medical support, court orders, legal help, therapy, and childcare — practical things survivors need to flourish.
But we also provide things that aren’t as visible. We provide emotional support, empathy, and the space for survivors to tell their story.
No matter how a survivor finds us or where they are in the cycle of abuse, our number one goal is to make sure each survivor is believed and supported. And, all of our services are confidential, free, and available in English, Spanish and Russian.
