It was an honor to work at Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod at one point in my life. I met hundreds of people invested in securing permanent housing for families on this peninsula. Whether it was volunteering their time, sharing their talents in construction or donating it was clear to all that Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod changes lives — one home at a time. Local families put in hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” to build their own homes alongside volunteers, creating stability and hope for generations to come.
Your support helps make this possible. Every dollar goes toward building safe, affordable homes right here in our community.
It's my hope that you'll join me in support of this great organization and consider making a donation today.
Many thanks!
Sue
Ride for Homes
Habitat Cape Cod's Ride for Homes is an annual fundraising event that raises money to build affordable homes on Cape Cod. Participants can choose to bike, run, or walk one of several routes along the Cape Cod Canal and through Bourne and Falmouth. The event supports Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod's mission to help local families achieve homeownership.
- Purpose: To raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod's affordable housing initiatives.
- Activities: Participants can choose from a 14, 20, or 50-mile bike ride or a 5k or 10k walk or run along the Cape Cod Canal.
- Participants: The event welcomes all ages and abilities, though riders under 18 have specific adult supervision requirements.
- Fundraising: Funds raised are crucial for the construction of homes, helping local families become homeowners through an affordable mortgage and "sweat equity".
Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod builds affordable homes in partnership with volunteers for local Cape Cod families.
