Hey folks. I am doing on the New England Classic again this year. Holly can't ride this year, but she is on the ride in spirit.
The ride is 330 miles over 4 days, and offers a way to make some progress on a disease that takes so many lives and limits so many others. It is a fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association -- with a specific focus on finding a cure for diabetes and giving children with T1D the opportunity to go to camp in NH @ Camp Carefree.
Sloan has been living with Type 1 diabetes for 6 years now, and while it's still no fun to deal with pharmacy runs and insurance problems, we are profoundly grateful to live in a time when diabetes technologies enable her to go out in the world without us worrying that she will die. And for Brendan's Type 1.5 diabetes (who knew diseases could do fractions?), those technologies mean that he can and does manage his regimen almost entirely on his own.
We want to contribute to keeping that progress moving forward for our family and millions of others.
Please join us by making a donation. No amount is too small.
