Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for SARL's 1st Annual "Howl"ween 5K!
This event is especially meaningful to me for a few reasons. As a new mom, I set a personal goal to complete a 5K within my first year postpartum. When I heard about SARL's Howl"ween 5K, I thought, what better way to work toward that goal than by supporting a cause that's close to my heart?
Many of you know how much our rescue dogs, Fenway and Mazy, meant to our family. They brought us so much love, laughter, and companionship over the years. While we're taking our time and waiting for the right moment to welcome another dog into our home, I wanted to find a way to support dogs who are still waiting for their forever families. This fundraiser felt like the perfect opportunity to honor Fenway and Mazy's memory while helping shelter animals get the care and second chances they deserve.
On Saturday, October 31, I'll be walking or running to support the amazing animals at Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL).
SARL is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter dedicated to providing compassionate care, finding loving homes for homeless pets, and offering programs that help keep pets healthy and with the families who love them. Every dollar raised helps provide food, shelter, medical care, enrichment, and second chances for animals in need.
I'm raising funds to help SARL continue its lifesaving work, and I'd be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference for the animals who rely on our community.
Your contribution is tax-deductible and goes directly toward helping homeless pets receive the care they deserve.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support. Whether you're donating, sharing this page, or cheering me on from afar, your support means so much. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of animals in need while honoring the special rescue dogs who inspired this journey.
?? In memory of Fenway and Mazy, and in support of the dogs still waiting for their forever homes.
