On August 30, 2026, the family behind the Barns & Beers Bike Tour lost the heart at its center. Anna Marie Hallman — "Gran," as she was affectionately known by so many — passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 96.
Gran was one of the biggest supporters of Pete's Good Vibes. She loved Pete fiercely. When he married her daughter Jennifer, he became one of her own, just as would happen anytime one of her children took a partner. That was who Gran was: a woman who fed everyone at her table, kept the whole family close, and never once treated "in-laws" as anything less than "hers."
So when we asked, in lieu of flowers, for donations to Pete's Good Vibes in Gran's memory, we weren't surprised by how many responded. We created the Gran Hallman Memorial Team to hold those gifts, in her name and in her honor. There are no riders on this team, no miles to log. It exists simply so that every gift given for her can be seen, counted, and remembered as hers.

PGV 2026 Bike Tour
Pete's Good Vibes is holding it's 5th annual Barns and Beers Bike Tour September 12, 2026. And we have to say… we're pretty proud. Five years of all kinds of weather, riders, and challenges. With your help we have raised over $100,000, and helped countless families battling cancer. We are so grateful to have you along for the ride, literally and figuratively. Grab your bike for a fun ride through the rolling hills and scenic country roads of Coopersburg and surrounding areas. Choose from a rolling 23 mile or a more challenging 55 mile ride. Start and finish at a historic barn where you'll meet new friends, enjoy a meal from a local food truck, and local craft beer. Rest stops and sag wagons are included with every route. E-bikes are also welcome. Pete Caldes, the foundation's namesake, absolutely loved bringing people together and enjoying the good times...so come ride with friends, new and old, hang out afterwards and play corn hole, pool, darts, foosball, air hockey and ping pong. Enjoy a craft beer and take a run through the 40' inflatable obstacle course. We will again have prizes from local businesses and a free gift for all riders! We strive to make this bike tour not just about the ride, but also about the destination. So finish the ride, hop off your bike and feel the Good Vibes! All this is included with your entry fee.
Register before July 1st is discounted to just $65.
July 1st to August 31st registrations will be $75.
Any registrations September 1st or later will be $100.

Pete's Good Vibes supports families in the midst of their cancer fight when they are overwhelmed physically and mentally, battling this horrible disease. When the battle, coupled with lost wages, creates seemingly insurmountable debt. We step in and donate directly to the families. Your generosity makes this possible and we thank you!
Pete’s Good Vibes is a grassroots organization established in memory of Pete Caldes to raise funds and offer support to families fighting cancer. There are no paid employees, all participants are volunteers and, after operating costs, all donations go to benefit the designated recipients of Pete’s Good Vibes. Our mission is to grow our foundation and establish connections at cancer centers in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley area and beyond. so that we can provide much needed assistance at a time when families need it most. Established in 2019, in our first year we were able to immediately provide thousands of dollars in financial support to cancer patients and their families.
