Help me raise funds for Sweet Olive Animal Rescue with the 2026 Ride SOFAR. My goal is $200+ and for each donation of $50 or more you can sponsor me and an animal. It's fun and easy to be a part of our mission! Sponsor a farm friend for yourself, your family or a friend and help to provide a safe forever home to animals in need. Sponsorship makes a great gift and you will receive a sponsorship packet and color photograph of your sponsored friend.
Ride SOFAR 2026
Come join Sweet Olive Farm and ride to raise money for the farm!
Ride SOFAR is a leisurely fun bicycle ride with various categories and athletic levels! Be a Pig (a parent or guardian over 15 years of age) and have your piglets join you on a 6-mile course (with turnaround options). Test your animal legs on a 25-mile course as a Llama or 50-mile course as a Donkey that travels throughout Oglethorpe County.
As a Pig, Llama, or Donkey, you will receive a meal and something to wash it down with. Piglets can sign up with their guardian and receive food and drink.

Sweet Olive Farm Animal Rescue is a safe and welcoming space in Winterville, Georgia. Our mission is to provide a forever home for farm and exotic animals that are unwanted, injured, elderly, homeless, and need a safe place to land. Our mission also includes creating a nurturing and healing space for animals and humans, with a special focus on children. Founded in 2010, SOFAR is now home to over 250 rescued farm animals. Our volunteer-run 501c3 cares for these animals, providing daily feeding, grooming, shelter, farm chores, and vet care. The animals give back with unconditional love, which feeds the souls of all who enter our grounds.
